D1 Players in KY

I don't think he is even a top 5 point guard in his region.

Well you are greatly mistaken because I have seen this young man play and he plays with tremendous confidence and heart. Obviously, you were not at the Cov Cath vs. Beechwood game where he kept his team in the game.

He has game.

He has a great looking 25+ foot jumper and can run and gun with the best point guards in the state.

I heard Trey Beuttel is a great role player and would fit well at Central Connecticut State University. I heard he was in contact with the university a few weeks ago.

If there's question as to whether or not Arrez Henderson, who is on a much higher level than Beuttel, can play D1, there's no way Beuttel is a D1 caliber player.

I think people underestimate what it takes to really be D1 material. Henderson was a McDonalds All American nominee and still will probably end up mid major D1.

Beuttel would make a nice D3 player. Once again, Corey Pelle was way better then Beuttel and only got a D2 scholarship.

You must not have been at the Cov Cath vs. Beechwood game. He really knows how to put his team on his back and carry them.

I've also seen this young man play, but I'd say that Shover, Riley, Bryan, Giwa, and Pangallo are all ahead of him.

So you're saying Beuttel is better than the following:

Giwa (HC)

Riley (Holmes)

Shover (CCH)

Gabbard (Boone)

Bryan (VMA)

If Beuttel is a top 5 point guard he is #5 at best. I personally think Pangallo of NCC is a better PG than Beuttel. And if Avery of Conner runs the point out there next year that would push Beuttel back to #7.

No way he has more heart than all 5 of those point guards combined. He also has a better shot and is quicker than most of them.

Heart is great, but talent is also needed. I highly doubt that he is quicker than any of these players.

I have seen the young man run and he ran a 4'5 40 yard dash at Beechwood last summer. Also he has all the talent in the world when he feels like trying.

He does play with tremendous heart. I was trying to say that he is so good when he is on he does not have to try. When you have the range he has on the court no average Joe can stop him.

I believe he didn't score on Riley. He is better than an average Joe.

I heard he played the game with the flu. Once again he has an amazing heart.

I guess you must know the kid personally and if the kid is as "good" as you say then he shouldn't make excuses.

The flu is a serious condition it once wiped out the Aztec empire.
