March 17, 200818 yr Author IN Cincinnati 13-18 Virginia 15-15 Ohio 19-12 Houston 22-9 UTEP 19-13 Washington 16-16 Richmond 16-14 Brown 19-9 Nevada 21-11 Utah 17-14 Bradley 17-15 That leaves five Records in bold... Does this thing have any credibility? Will it draw any fans? Who looks to be the favorite?
March 17, 200818 yr New Mexico State turned it down because of lukewarm support from their players and the fact that they would have to put up $50,000 to host a CBI game. To recoup that, they would have to sell between 6,000 and 7,000 tickets. They only averaged 6,300 fans per game.
March 17, 200818 yr Author I'm surprised Houston didn't get an NIT bid Thats what I was thinking... Does that make them the "favorite?" The "#1 seed?"
March 17, 200818 yr There's got to be a hold-up somewhere on a top-tier team because the bracket was supposed to be announced 90 minutes ago.

March 17, 200818 yr Author My guess is they having more trouble just filling the last 5 spots... I don't think it would be that hard... Why not call up IUPUI... 26-7 on the year... What about Rider or Niagara? 23-10 and 19-10 respectively... Wright State or Valpo come in at 21-10 and 21-13... Southern Miss at 19-13 or Tulsa at 20-13 coming off their run in the CUSA tourney. I think a number of mid majors would love to play in the post season regardless of what it is...
