March 10, 200818 yr Wasn't there a time when 3.2 beer was legal if you were 18? "Back in the day" it was. You could go to a bar/club in Cincinnati, show your fake ID, and get stamped "under" which meant you could only buy the watered-down 3.2 beer. I'd guess that ended in the very early 80s.

March 11, 200818 yr Wasn't there a time when 3.2 beer was legal if you were 18? Exactly, we would go from UK to Cincinnati to drink it all the time. It was not available in KY.

March 12, 200818 yr Did Coors beer taste better in the '70s or is it just me? I remember having buddies bring Coors back from Colorado, iced down in coolers, and it was the best beer going! It was a real treat to have a Coors in one's hand, eh mouth... I believe it was unpasteurized then. Coors today seems to taste like any other mega brew on the shelf. What changed? Can't thnk of a better site than BGP to get my question answered. While your at it... what will your brew be for March Madness? :sssh: FRAT PARTY:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa Yeah ,once back in the '70s when I was at Morehead some guys made a run out west in one of those customized vans they had back then and brought back a load of Coors. That was the theme for the party. Remember the 2 holes you had to push down on to open the beer. One for drinking and a little one for air to come in. Chug a lug, Chug a lug.:banana::banana:
