I think Bilas is one of the few anaylists that gets his point across without being in your face and does it in a way where you don't feel like he is taking sides. He also brings depth into his analysis instead of griping and railing (Packer), obnoxious name dropping and meandering off subject (Vitale), or with a holier than thou attitude (Digger Phelps).

No way...UK would maybe have 7 wins in the Big East this season.

 

Seriously? Ok, you don't like UK, which is fine and understandable, but UC won 8 games in the Big East this year. Uk would be a 6-7 point favorite against them on a nuetral court right now.

Nova barely made the Big East tourney, no way are they a contender or one of the best teams.

Notre Dame is not overrated, actually they are quite similar to Tenn. They love to play uptempo and shoot 3's. The only difference is that ND has "Harengody" , a dominant post player.

 

G-town and UofL are better than Tenn, Vandy, UK and Miss St. UofL beat a full roster of Wildacats badly in Rupp about two months ago, a week before UK beat Vandy. Uconn is very strong too.

 

Honestly, UK would of struggled to make the Big East tourney. IMHO, they are similar to Nova or Providence.

 

 

UK would have struggled to make the Big East tourney is a bit of a stretch. They finished 3rd in a top 5 conference in America. You can say all you want about the SEC being down this year, but to win 12 games in the conference is pretty impressive. I wish ND and Tenn would play a 7 game series and you were a betting man that would like to take ND straight up in all 7. I would win a lot of money from you.

No I said they are similar to Tenn., but I do think it would be a series. If UK beat Tenn., I know Notre Dame could. Actually both of those teams never lose at home, so I would say whoever got game seven at home would win the series.

 

I would compare UK to Nova when looking at Big East schools. You are correct, they would make the conference tournament, but not finish 3rd. That is for sure.

Any way you slice it UK's resume looks favorable to a whole lot of other bubble teams... For the record right now I think that UK is IN, Florida and Ole Miss are OUT. (both need big runs in the SEC tourney)
