Maynard

?

Neither Knipp started, but came in late in the first quarter.[/QUO

The other starter was Jonathan Morgan. Timmy Knipp had a huge game. I believe he ended up with 10 blocks. He probably came close to a triple double.

Timmy played really well, and came real close to a triple double.

12pts, 7rebds, 8 blocks, 2 asst.

Greenup impressed me in the 1 st quarter or should I say Elliott didnt? Either way Elliott did what they needed to and I think their beards are just the cutest thing.:creepy::rolleyes::confused:

Any stats for this game?

There is some down towards the bottom of this thread.

Elliott played very well. They played more like a team than they have all year. Love those Lions. See you Sat. Rebound.

Elliott County started slow, but their quickness was just too much for Greenup County. Ferguson had his usual good game, the Maynard boy was filling it up from way downtown, and the Faulkner boys are, well the Faulkner boys. They're a joy to watch. The youngest Knipp boy had a very good game as well. He had several blocks. I've only seen two Elliott County games this year, but I agree that the attitude of one of the players was much better than the 1st game I saw. Elliott County is going to be tough to beat if Maynard is hitting like he did last night.

Thats the key, he has earned enough respect that teams are forced to guard him no matter where he is on the floor, opening up driving lanes for the others. Timmy played a great game, giving the Lions what they needed interior defense and rebounding.

Just go ahead and say Elliott didn't. You've been downing them all year, no reason to stop now.

Elliott County has been impressive all year despite tension in their camp at times, remember the District tournament finals. I for one am looking forward to the re-match with Rose Hill. Who do you think has the advantages with perimeter and post play. Can't wait to here the responses.

I was surprised by the play of Greenup Co. They didn't back down from Elliott and played hard for 32min. The coach for Greenup did a good job preparing his team. Congratulations to Elliott Co. on advancing to the semis.

Elliott co. advances to the semifinals for showdown with Rose Hill.

Rowan didn't impress me....but heck..neither did the RH team. Player 1 did (except for the missed dunk), the team didn't ....

Here's to taking the Royals crown! Go Elliott, Go Away Snow.

Timmy Knipp had a tremendous game last night. He just dominated inside & it was really pretty to watch as he would take his move or pass to the outside to Maynard & others for a good look. This is what a little inside out etc.., can do. I thought Elliott had all the material to do this all year & really take advantage of other teams but evidently it was never a part of their game planning.
