Congrats to Scott on the hard fought win. They made the shots when they had to at the end of the game. I will say I saw one of the poorest examples of sportmanship by one of the Scott parents in all my years of attending high school sports. At the conclusion of the game and Scott's kids celebrating as they should, this parent in the blue hoodie, ran onto the floor and taunted the Campbell players, running along the Camel bench and screaming at them. It was disgusting and has no place in high school sports. Good luck to both teams at Montgomery County next week.

Not taking away from the Scott team because they made the shots when they had too and played their hearts out but were these the best officials for a district tournament? They were terrible IMO in all of the games. Very questionable calls in the Scott/Brossart game and then tonight.

I witnessed the same type of behavior by an assistant coach Tuesday night. I chalked it up to "the heat of the moment", however you should act like you have been there before. Then again the eagles have not been there before. Still, coaches and parents should show class after a big win, not classless behavior.

By the way, this jack is an employee of the Kenton County School System and evidently has a child who is a freshman on the team. I understand this idiot is a guidance counselor in the school system. If that is true, Good Lord Help Us.

To be honest and I know this is going to sound crazy but I do not think the administration saw it and if they did see it they were probably in shock that a grown man would act like that.

 

Also, I think the AD and the Superindendent were at the other end (near the entrance) of the gym and the other principals were standing on the other end (near the locker rooms). Where I was sitting I do not know if the principals could have seen him because they could have been blocked by people.

Mueller was in front of the Scott band. CCHS administration was in front of the student section. The celebration of the players and students under the Camel basket in front of the Camel bench. This clown came from his mid court, mid level seat.... came in front of Mueller, along the baseline and facing the Camel bench and students started his American Idol audition. He circled around, mingled into the students and players and came back towards the Scott band section and that is where Mueller stepped towards him and pointed back to the stands. This fool returned to his seat, about 10 rows up the stands at mid court and high fived his entourage.

 

I do not think Coach Carr saw it, I know Superitendent Hanner did not see it nor did the Campbell superintendent. But the one person who did see it and it was demonstrated by his actions was the Scott AD.

What's up with Scott?? Coach Carr, while a little crazy early on in his head coaching career; has always seemed to conduct himself very well and with taste!! But the things his assistant said and did to the Brossart student section, and then to the parents; and now a parent goes off to the Campbell kids....................Makes you wonder if there's something in the water in Taylor Mill??

 

It's a shame to take away from Coach Carr and the kid's hard fought victory (s)?? Miss Manners needs to visit the hill in Taylor Mill?? Also congrats to Coach Code on turning around the Campbell program, and maybe they can get that elusive District title next year?? Do agree that maybe the players needed to be thinking about the game plan for Scott, instead of celebrating Brossart's loss to Scott like they'd won the Super Bowl!!

...back to the game. Congrats to Coach Carr and the Scott Eagles!:dancingpa I am so happy for Jordan Adkins. Great kid from a great family. Happy to see him hit the story book shot in the championship game!

First congrats to Scott on the win and the Distrcit Title. Now on to that guy wearing the blue hoodie. You have no class what so ever and totally made a fool of your self tonight!! I applaud the CCHS students for not running onto the court after seeing how that guy acted. It's pretty sad to see a bunch of teenagers have more class and respect than a parent who is supposedly an employee in the kenton county school system and who is also suppossed to be setting a good example for students. Either the Administration, the AD, the Superitendent, or scott's coach needs to seriously sit down and talk to this fool letting him know that his actions after the game were unacceptable by all means.

Great phantom charge call or should I say flop at the end. Once again a referee tries to make himself part of the outcome. Camels up three with the ball and he doenst call the hold of the jersey. The play before he called a hold on the same exact play that put Nerl on the line. Camels should be up five, but instead give free throws to the eagles.
