What a good game . . . only comment on that fan/man was WOW . . that is all I have for that! The very big point made was that Adkins' two free throws cutting it to 1 were huge. The winning shot/play was very impressive- instead of forcing a shot in the paint, he found an open shooter who nailed it! Then it was all celebration where all Camels handled it well. They were/are so disappointed though. I'm interested to see if Scott can make some Regional noise! Same to the Camels who have been expected to make a little Region run! EXCELLENT game both teams.

Some calls had my head shaking, and me wondering . . . yet nothing you can ever do there!

This Scott team is a team that was beat by 27 by CC earlier in the year, no one gave any chance of winning the district championship, and that only won 9 games. Give credit where credit is due! Congrats Coach Carr and the Scott Eagles! You deserve all of the accolades!

First off, they reveiwed the types no coach ran on the floor after the Brossart game, thats sour grapes, and if a Scotts parents dad ran on the court after tonights game, unfortunate as it is, it takes nothing away from the coaches or players of the team, so to say thats a reflection of the program in unwarrented. Sour grapes, it looks as if people from CC are upset that a team from Kenton County won their district. Again congrats Scott and CC from making regions, to take away from the performance from both teams is stupid.

Scott's recent postseason history can be summed up as always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

 

On Saturday, the Eagles finally got hitched to a 37th District championship.

 

Senior guard Jordan Adkins swished a jumper from the wing as time expired to give Scott a 39-38 victory over Campbell County and its first district crown since 2000.

Congrats to the Eagle players. Also, hats off to the Campbell County players. Good luck to both this week in Montgomery County.

Its hilarious to see how many people from Campbell County, both schools are bitter that Scott went to their terroritory and won districts. Wow.

 

Not bitter. It is all about sportsmanship. A grown man running on the court and egging on high school kids and acting the sameway to a bunch of kids who just lost is uncalled for. I think if a CC parent did the samething as this Scott parent the Scott fans would be saying the samething the CC fans are.

 

Obviously, I wanted CC to win but like I said before Scott made the shots when they needed to and CC did not.

 

Off to Regionals!!!

Both teams played very good in your face defense. Not to many open looks for either team, O'Connor and Hillers' defense in both games was very good. The score should not have been this close Scott should have been able to put it away at the foul line but shot under 50%. When was the last time Scott won District? Congrats to Jordan Adkins for his game winning shot and Murray for his MVP

I do not have issue with the entire community but if you are from there, would you not be concerned about someone your taxes pays to employ to represent your community well? The conversation what happens after a game absolutely deserves conversation. By holding up the stupidity and actions that are problems will help set the standards and expectations of conduct.

 

You don't think his actions took away the accomplishments of Scott? Please. It was a selfish action on his part. Plain and simple and does deserve commentary. After all, it was he who went on the floor in front of fans and performed, so it is OK to comment on the performance.

No...but the Scott Athletic Director could and should.

Great phantom charge call or should I say flop at the end. Once again a referee tries to make himself part of the outcome. Camels up three with the ball and he doenst call the hold of the jersey. The play before he called a hold on the same exact play that put Nerl on the line. Camels should be up five, but instead give free throws to the eagles.

Campbell should have never been in a situation where an official could affect the outcome of the game, if he even did?? They beat Scott by 27 earlier in the year, and clearly had a better team throughout the year. Hat's off to Coach Carr and the Eagles for turning the table on the Camels, and getting the victory when it counted!!

 

And for the several posters pointing to Carr controling the idiot fan, isn't he supposed to be coaching a close game?? Hopefully the head coach has something better to do in a close game than worry about a parent getting ready to storm the court?? Guessing "Mr. Hoodie" needs to learn to control himself, and if he's the dad of a freshman; doubting he'll be in the gym for the next several years, if he continues acting like this??
