10th Region Tournament

Featured Replies

I agree with highfield. I never understood the whole "I'm afraid that we'll draw so-and-so" logic if you have a strong team to start with. You're going to have to win three games; doesn't really matter in what order.

Wow! What an unpredictable set of events leading up to the 10th Region Tournament.

A lot of possibilities. Scott and Pendleton (Winners) could be on the same side of the bracket, which would be welcomed by loser Montgomery County.

Scott, upset winners over Campbell County could find the Indians behind door number one in the regional and Campbell County might draw Pendleton County, OR Augusta could draw Pendleton County, which would suit both just fine.

Bottom line, on paper, if the tournament runs to form, Clark County or Montgomery County look to be able to advance to the regional finals. Mason County will have to go through one or the other prior to playing in the finals.

But then why should the regional tournament run true to form - the district tournaments certainly haven't.

The draw will be very interesting come Sunday afternoon in Mount Sterling.

I would like to see Mason draw Montgomery County early.

Deming should have beat them, both teams lost a lead. It should have been Deming's Win. I don't know where you are getting your information on Pendleton County.

Pendleton can't play with Mason. :ylsuper:

If you are talking to me I don't believe I made that inference.

The draw will be most interesting. Good luck to all the teams. The 10th is always one of best atmospheres in high school basketball.

The Eagles have been fortunate to dodge the Royals as District runnerups the past two years. Will their luck continue as district champs?

I have to think everybody wants to draw Pendleton, but for what its worth those kids are playing with a heck of a lot of emotion right now.
