Ball game lost at the Foul Line

Central 9-16

Southwestern 1-3

I agree about the missed foul shots, but the Watts kid just did not get the ball in his hands enough IMO...CONGRATS to SW, they had fouls to give in the last 16 seconds and burned 8 seconds off the clock by using them...It was a great game to watch...

Guys are you sure this is not a miss print, still can't believe this score.

TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As one of the Warrior Faithful I was there and the whole crowd from McCreary Central was in total disbelief. As expected. And the I rode down with a couple of buddies that are Warrior faithful as well...some more than others. But anyways they kept saying the whole way down there, they're no way that Southwestern will win this but I kept telling them that you wait and see!!!!!!!!!!!! and low and behold what happend? Thats right the unthinkable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fire:

No misprint , it actually happened. Bob & Duane cannot have voices left after the 2 games they had to do on the radio tonight. It was an exciting final 3 minutes with each team hitting big shot after big shot.

SW is a team that doesn't have an outstanding w-l record, but has been getting better & better each game out. Coach Shulz ALWAYS has his team ready for post-season play.

Lets see what happens in the district finals before we start crowning a coach of the year. One game does not make a coach of the year.

As a Raider fan, I had one interesting obsevation tonight. With 22 seconds to go in the game, coach Shulz calls a timeout to make sure he gets the look that gives his team the best chance to take the lead. It worked to perfection as they scored AND he also instructed his team to let a few seconds run off the clock and foul because they only had 4 team fouls at that point. After 2 fouls and with McCreary inbounding the ball at half court with 7.9 seconds to go, trailing by 1,coach Jones elects to NOT call a timeout to try to at least get a good shot:confused:Maybe they wouldn't have made the shot or executed it correctly, but why would you not try? Great effort by both clubs tonight, it's just my opinion that we were clearly out coached. Any thoughts?

Holy moly .... what a win for da Warriors. I knew McCreary wasn't much better than Williamsburg.

So I guess you are already assuming that Rodney Woods already has this Championship Won huh? Remember The Warriors aren't dead yet they're just getting started.

Great win for Dave Schulz and the Warriors. It was great to see those four guys carry Coach Schulz off the floor on their shoulders into the locker room.

I agree that a TO should have been taken by Coach Jones plus the ball should have been in someone else's hands in those last seconds IMO, nothing against #11...

Wow a shocker...Id like to get some insight from ssf and see what happened tonight..
