Southwestern 56 McCreary Co. 55

Congrats to SW on the big W. Just want to say how good a year that the Raiders had and if you follow sports long enough, these type of things happen when you least expect them. Keep your heads up McCreary, you guys had a great year. Learn and move forward to next year. Good Luck to SW the rest of the way.

So i guess ur already assuming that Rodney Woods already has this Championship Won huh? Remember The Warriors aren't dead yet they're just getting started.

The last time I looked Mr Woods has a game to play and win before he would play Southwestern. Trevor Jones is a great player, props to Trevor tonight. I am sure his family is very proud of him as is Schultz. He put them on his back and carried them to victory.

As a Raider fan, I had one interesting obsevation tonight. With 22 seconds to go in the game, coach Shulz calls a timeout to make sure he gets the look that gives his team the best chance to take the lead. It worked to perfection as they scored AND he also instructed his team to let a few seconds run off the clock and foul because they only had 4 team fouls at that point. After 2 fouls and with McCreary inbounding the ball at half court with 7.9 seconds to go, trailing by 1,coach Jones elects to NOT call a timeout to try to at least get a good shot:confused:Maybe they wouldn't have made the shot or executed it correctly, but why would you not try? Great effort by both clubs tonight, it's just my opinion that we were clearly out coached. Any thoughts?

Some coaches call timeout. Some coaches has the plays to call from sideline.

The coaches from the Raiders missed all the easy shots right in front of the basket. The coaches let the Southwestern get the offensive rebound.

The coaches miss the free throws.

The bottom line Southwestern wanted the game more than Raiders.

Best of luck to Southwestern in the finals and the region.

I saw that who were those guys?

Looked like the 4 stooges. :D :jump:

Good point TBotS. The Coaches can't do everything.

I agree that a TO should have been taken by Coach Jones plus the ball should have been in someone else's hands in those last seconds IMO, nothing against #11...

Look like to me number 11 kept them in the game.

Swieger did keep them in it with the big three point shots late in the 4th. Watts was smothered by Jones and did not have his usual game. Wooldridge also hit some big shots for Southwestern down the stretch in the clutch.

Thanks Banker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just want you to know that I think the Raiders had an outstanding season. Nothing to be ashamed of. I look forward to our rivalry in the years to come.:thumb:

And where did they come from? Thats like Shaq shooting a three, luckily for Southwestern they were nothing but net.

Yes he did. I forgot those two. I will give the Warrior their due, they made the big shots when the game was on the line. I was glad I got to see it, great game.
