Mike Bowling - Athletic Trainer..

Mike lives/dies/bleeds Beechwood sports and if this is true, it is indeed a shame!

The only reason I could think of would be that his daughter, who will be graduating this year from Beechwood, will be going to a college out of the state, and he is following her. Of course this is only a guess on Theoldguy's part!

If he bleeds Beechwood sports, why did his daughter then attend Boone County to play basketball?

:thumb: I agree with you. Not always the easiest guy for other schools to have to deal with when you would play at Beechwood and had way to many comments when as a trainer it is my opinion he should sit and do his job and keep his thoughts and opinions to himself especially when talking to kids from other teams. If this is true He should have been gone the day he pulled his daughter out of Beechwood IMO. I believe Mr Bowling is/was a part of the St Elizabeth group if I'm not mistaken and to be honest I can't say I'm all that impressed with the service they provide or moreso the people they provide to some schools. Seems some of their people think they are at liberty to make several uneducated and uniformed comments.

It's not the job of a trainer to be buddy buddy with coaches and kids. Keep it professional and courteous and sit behind the bench and ready to do your job when needed. There is a reason why some trainers don't stay at the same school for a very long time. It usually because they wear out their welcome with a school rather quickly. Some would be wise to listen and let others run to the store.:ylsuper::lol:

If true, I wish Mike good luck.

Hate to hear this about Mike. We go back a long way. We used to have our friendly little smack talk sessions, when Ludlow and Beechwood played each other. Of course that was when Ludlow used to beat Beechwood in football. Like I said we go back a LONG way.

Based on Beechwood's record looks like he does a great job.

They don't come any better than Bowls! He's a great guy, great trainer, and great father. Sure he put his daughter at Boone Cty. but that was about her not him. He loves Beechwood and always will. Don't confuse being a parent with school spirit!!!!

Good Luck Bowls!

If this is true I am going to hate to see Mike go, if the ortho docs for whom he works would take 1/10 the time Mike does with those boys, we would not have the situations we have at Beechwood. We should have jumped on the oppurtunity and welcomed the Colosimo group when we had the chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the situation? Why jump on the Colosimo group?

Not a big defender of Bowling or the group he is associated with as my previous post would indicate but I would agree about the Colosimo group. I have had some dealings with him and my kids and I came away very impressed.

Mike is a very good man and person and he wll be missed. He was a true blue fan and faithful of Beechwood and his heart pumped the Beechwood RED and WHITE. I only wish Mike the best and I know our paths will cross again. Good Luck MIKE. JD

What the heck happened? Or can we not speak about that in the forum?
