Wow that is bery unfortunate, He has been so dedicated with this program, and its a huge loss, knowing him personally I know how much being a part of Scott's attempt of turning its program meant to him. Good luck to Dave on what ever he tries to do in coaching next, I'm sure the NKYFL Raiders would love to have him back.

Yet we hire 1 of the Coaches who caused alot of trouble last year. Now I really see why the parents who did most of the work and financed alot of the program last year are leaving. Good luck to the new parents who are taking over don't forget Scott has a gas card for the lawn- mower when you need gas ha ha lol just ask the Assistant Principal for it.

I had a feeling it was coming but Dave is a great guy and will land somewhere else and coach.

Hopefully the parents will stick with the program and put their personal feelings aside. That's what happens at the great programs in the state. Seems like before Coach Campbell has coached his first game, parents think they know who should be the asst coaches better than he does. That says more about certain parents than it does about Coach Campbell's ability to decide who should be his asst coaches.

I wish Coach Campbell the best and hope he does well. I was just expressing my opinion on the program and personalities of some of the Coaches Scott had the last couple of years. He can hire whoever he wants to be his Assistants I really believe in my heart that Dave Simpson should have been 1 of them instead of one that is coming back not to mention any names he will soon find out which 1 I am talking about once football starts up again with his on the field antics. Dave should look at the bright side now he can go watch his son play at SK which Myles by far will be 1 of the best in NKY the next 2 years. I only wish Scott would play SK again. Scott is a program seems to get overlooked in Kenton County school district. Scott has the capability of becoming an upcoming program. From what I'm reading about Coach Campbell - I believe this is the man that can turn things around. It's true -- you have to have the support of the parents, school and the players. You cannot succeed if you don't believe in yourself. Scott had good size, speed and talent last season. Their backfield was big and hard hitting when they got to the line. Good luck Coach Campbell. By the way -- does anybody know if Simpson is staying on board at Scott. Good coach -- kids seem to really respect him at the JV - Frosh level.

I certainly do not always agree with decisions that Dale makes at Highlands, nonetheless, its about the program and I'll always support it (financially and with sweat equity) regardless of whether I agree with coaching decisions or not. Hopefully the Scott parents and fans do the same thing. Everything I hear about Campbell leads me to believe Scott got not a good, but a great coach and even more importantly a great motivator (which is desperately needed at down programs... you have to believe with your mind before you can accomplish with your body).

No Simpson is the coach everyone is talking about that Scott is not bringing back.

With 22 seniors gone he is starting from Scratch. Trevor Forrestor, Jacob Reyes, and Eric Sawder are basically all he has returning from last years team. Kyle Bruner will be a big key if he gets on the field, Which from what I am hearing now is that he will.

Coach Simpson has already been hired by another NKY school. I don't know if I can say which one it is, but it is a state powerhouse and they are in Scott's conference...
