February 18, 200818 yr It's a longshot but there is a rumour that Gonzo might end up there. The Chiefs are rebuilding and looking to get young. The Seahawks are in a win now mode and need a TE. Gonzo only wants to go where he has a shot to be a contender. He would be a GREAT fit there IMO. I certainly would not be opposed...

February 19, 200818 yr This sounds crazy, but I think that the Bengals can get a very good receiving TE in the 3rd round of the draft, b/c that's where I see Carlson from ND falling. I think that he would be a good value, as well as a receiving threat. The Bengals don't need a deep threat at TE, ala Gonzalez or a Shannon Sharpe. They need someone who can control the shallow and middle 1/3 between the hashes. Carlson can do that.
February 19, 200818 yr I think the Bengals should look hard at signing Crumpler. If they don't, as a season ticket holder, I expect someone as least as good as Crumpler to join the Bengals at TE. I'm not sure there are any TE's available as good as Crumpler, other than Crumpler. If the Bengals miss out on Crumpler, they're not getting a TE as good as him. They might get a project in the draft, but there's no way that rookie would come out and immediately be as good as Alge Crumpler.

For some reason, I thought it was over $120 this year. For the Bengals amount, I'm finding all different kinds of numbers.
