No problem...just hate to see any school downed by things that may not be true or can be helped.

Boys is March 2-8

2nd is a Sunday, so assume it will start on the 3rd. Not much turnaround time to get ready for a first round opponent Sat night to Monday night.

I'm pretty sure the regional schedules are like they were last year:

Girls: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat

Boys: Wed, Thurs, Sat afternoon, Sun afternoon

So, the girls' district needs to be done by Friday night at the latest.

The girls are scheduled for M, T and W...this is how it usually has been done in the past. Why are the Boys games spread out so much and the same night as the girls? I would think this would be a question to ask Montgomery Co. who is hosting the boys tourney?

 

No I don't think this is how it was done in the past.. playing the girls 3 days in a row. Look at the Paris./Clark game. One team will survive and then more than likely turn around and have to play Montgomery less than 24 hours later.

As for Wednesday, should Bourbon or Clark make the girls final...well... I don't think I even need to make a comment as to what will be said. You think if Clark and Montgomery work so well together they would realize that one of their schools is going to be losing out on quite a bit of money. I find it hard to believe that some people are going to travel to both sites and pay both admissions.... but hey.. I guess we will find out soon enough.

I've talked to several people in Mt. Sterling who have said, "I'll just be going to the Boys game on Monday." Makes sense from a financial standpoint.

Does make sense financially, however, if you want to see a better game I think I'd drive the 15 minutes down the road and watch the girls.

I believe it was Clark Co. who had the opportunity to allow another district team host so scheduling wouldn't be a problem but would not change the venue.
