AllKnower Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I think S.K. is the best but they have not shown that lately.
kysportsfan4life Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Paris has got to be considered one of the best.
bigblueinsanity Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Paris has got to be considered one of the best. Agreed :jump:
Super 7 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 You may be talking about this year only....but last year Assumption High School from the Louisville area was a very good defensive team. They held their first round opponent in the sweet 16 (Wayne Co. I believe) to 18 points for the game. Winning 42 to 18. It is my understanding that it was a record low point total for a team in the sweet 16.
Option Right Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Talaken Myers of Paris and Bree Massie of Bourbon County, may be the best two out of the 10th Region.
crazy8s Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 South Oldham has had some pretty impressive defensive performances this year and are worth some consideration. They have really improved their man defense this year and are much more physical to go along with their size- they create some match-up difficulties for a lot of teams. They are # 2 in scoring defense per the khsaa stats page - which is just slightly ahead of Paris. I have not seen Paris play but they do have a fine reputation for defense.
U Reach I Teach Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Paris under the tutelage of Terrance SMMMMMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE Brooks!
BufordT Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Louisville Moore is good. They ave a 6'4" sophmore avg. around 8-9 blocks a game. She had 15 in a game last week in 3 quarters. She makes them good.

They are probably the best defensive team in the 8th region.
NCC06 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Have to go with Paris there were some games in the all A that I can remember in which they played awful on offense and still won because there defense only gave up 25- 30 pts.
ezdogg Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I agree with NCC06. It seems that Paris will keep you below your average in scoring and find a way to win even though their offense struggles. It should be a great showdown in Scott County tonight.
