February 1, 200818 yr Huge move for LA!! C-Andrew B F-Odam F-Gasol G-Bryant G Fisher This puts the Lakers as the best team in the west IMO.
February 1, 200818 yr If Gasol can mesh with the team and Bynum can come back healthy, this definitely puts the Lakers in serious contention. I love it.
February 1, 200818 yr WOW! At the start of next season they will have Bynum Gasol Odom Bryant Fisher That is dangerous, if they can shoot.
February 1, 200818 yr WOW! At the start of next season they will have Bynum Gasol Odom Bryant Fisher That is dangerous, if they can shoot. Start of next season? Bynum is due back at some point, isn't he? They'll have that lineup in a couple of months.
February 1, 200818 yr Very good trade for the Lakers. Getting rid of Kwame Brown probably helped the team in itself...
February 1, 200818 yr Goodness, what does Memphis get out of this trade besides cap room next season?
February 1, 200818 yr Bynum will be back this year. Wow, what a move for the Lakers! I know they gave up some picks, but now they will likely have late picks in the draft anyway, so they wont be giving up much. Interesting that Gasol's brother's rights are involved. Also wonder about Crittenton since they already have Conley Jr. I guess the Grizz got what they could. Will the Lakers now move Odom in hopes of getting Kidd? I can see that being a motivator in getting this deal done, as Odom is a good enough passer to play the 3, but I wonder if he is really fit to play the 3 for them. Should be interesting watching this shake out.
February 1, 200818 yr Goodness, what does Memphis get out of this trade besides cap room next season? Draft picks for the future and Crittenton who is a solid young player who wasnt getting much time due to the crowded PG situation in LA.
February 1, 200818 yr This is a good move, but I don't know if it puts LA over the top in an extremly crowded and talented Western Conference. Kobe is getting some extra help though.
February 1, 200818 yr I don't see the Lakers going after kidd to many PG's and not enoguh room for him and his Huge salary. I am so happy right now. Way to go Mitch.
February 1, 200818 yr You got some help now Mamba you better do something with it or you are goin to get blasted.
