Tennessee 93 Alabama 86

The over was easy pickings tonight.

Fun game.

Never thought I would see a major D-1 school play a zone where all 5 defenders had their hands down and flat-footed...til I saw Bama tonight.

Gottfried is a joke. He has loads of talent and wastes it.

UT didnt have to work hard at all for shots...Lofton spotted up all night.

UT has issues if you ask me...interior play on both ends, and half court defensively.

Alabama just didn't make the plays when they had the opportunities. Tennessee gave them all the opporunities.

Juan Smith and Lofton were huge in the 2nd half.

Gottfried is a joke. He has loads of talent and wastes it.

BINGO!

UA should keep him as a recruiter and hire a real coach.

Great road win for the Vols. Lofton and J. Smith were outstanding, but Lofton has to be more mobile if they expect to beat the big boys. He stands in one spot a lot and just waits for them to throw him the ball rather than to move off a screen and create a shot.

Would be nice to see a team mate of his set a good solid screen for him once in a while. He runs off of screens well, but the screen is very rearely set solid. And the pass to him or Smith is usually late if thye get it at all.

Tennessee needed to attack the middle of the zone. It was WIDE open all night. And when Tyler Smith does catch the ball he needs to turn and be ready to pull up for a fifteen footer because UA was giving it to them all night. Also, needs to look to the wing for a shooter instead of taking it 1 on 3. He is going to be good player but right now he needs to improve on some of his decison making.

Everytime Bama got close UT kept making the big shot. Bama really had there chances in this game though.

I am not close to the situation, but by watching, it appears to me he has lost control of the kids. From his time in Murray, I have no doubt that he can bring in talent; but coaching big boy talent is a ????

Did anyone else see the 6'1" jumping bean from Alabama? He was unbelieveable!!

That dunk he had that made ESPN's Top-10 Plays of the Night was an eye-opener to say the least. He flew to the rim!

That dunk was Jordan-esque!:scared::scared::scared:

I think he's the kid I saw play in the Derby Classic last year, was very impressed by him.

My electricity went off at 9:50 last night and didn't come back on until 6:15 this morning. I missed the second half of this one. Sounds like it was a wild and woolly second half.
