Congrats...any names picked out yet?

My dad is named Larry Joe and my late grandfather was Clay and we are leaning heavily towards Joseph Clay. It's very important for my wife and I to have a sentimental name and I would love to honor the two most important men of my lifetime.

I understand what you mean. Our son is named after a very important family friend of my husband. I am named after my grandfather.

Love the name you have picked out. If I can give you a bit of advice.....whatever you name your son....call him by his first name. We made the mistake and call our son by his middle name. When he gets mail. class and in school and college....he was not being used to called my his first name. Just makes it easier for all involved.

This is funny considering we are leaning heavily towards calling him his middle name  Maybe we should reconsider.

Congratulations! Love the name you both selected. I do agree on using the first name also. We called our first child by their middle name too. Everyone else will call out the first name (doctor's office, school, business world, etc).

Congratulations buddy .... Just remember no matter what " THIS TO SHALL PASS ". This saying will come in handy.:lol:  Love your wife and remember she won't mean everything she say's to you ... some she will ..but most she won't. There is a reason God chose women to have the children too. If it had been up to me we would have been childless. I'm a weakling when it come's to pain and I hate needles.:lol:

I've got 2 girls (16 and 18) and a snotty nosed boy (5). The boy has been tougher to raise than both girls combined. Of course I'm a little older now too.

Again congrats. to you and the misses. It's such a great blessing.
