Mr. King, My post were not to complain just providing some info that had been requested. I do not think anyone was really complaining this time around. Plz do not get your hair in a tease over this matter !

But some of the starters came back in for a few during the 4th also. All on the team got in the game at about a minute to go. You know something the rest of the team Can play ball .

Well, I will assume that if I were to name posters I'd be violating one of the rules. So I won't. And I don't mind the hair comments. It's my signature, baby! Michael Jordan wishes he had my fro. And Mr. coach, I'm not saying you at all. Only seems that in each thread about Elliott, some of their own, or at least I assume they're Elliott folk, continue to hack on one aspect or another. Substitutions, playing time, officiating, something in each and every thread. I hope for those boys sake that it stays in black and white on your computer screens and doesn't permeate throughout your households back in Sandy Hook, Olive Hill, West Liberty and the like. Let those boys play, let the coaches coach, and let them enjoy this time of success. That's all I'm saying. I often wonder if one of those boys who doesn't get as much floor time were to come in a game in a crucial spot and fail, whose fault it would be? I hope it never comes to that. If it does, there may be dozens of Elliott folks whose hair may look just like mine.

Mr. King, You know Coach Mays hair is about the same color as yours & he has a lot of it just like you so I was wondering have you ever thought about sharing your stylist with him? Not that yours can be duplicated ! but I think it would look good on Coach Mays.

Mr. coach, you sound like a very intelligent soul. I can give him some pointers that would have the Daily Independent out there with their cameras every game. Perhaps a pimped out hairdo might help him explain his eccentric substitution patterns to the Elliott faithful.. Think about it Coach Mays.

Well, call me crazy, won't be the first time, but I seem to always get the feeling that the Elliott Co. bunch is always on the verge of exploding? You win by 60 and some are upset about playing time, win by 15 and still there are dissenters who say that this one or that one is not being treated fairly. Lordy folks, how you can be so upset with unprecedented success is beyond this old promoter's feeble understanding. You are experiencing something that your school hasn't seen the likes of, ever! Sit back, enjoy the ride, and see what unfolds. I hope that some of you posters aren't going home and saying the same stuff to those kids that you say on here. It will do nothing but breed hostility and that puppy will implode. My dear mother always said " You can't make an omelet without breaking the eggs." Well guess what? There's a bunch of broken eggs out there that are upset that they aren't part of the omelet. I wish all of those boys luck, they'll need it to overcome the negativity! Like I told Ali when he re-took the title, at least you act like you've been there before!

Well Mr. King for once you put together some riddles that made some sense to me. Seems that certain posters for Elliott are always unhappy because some player is not getting the playing time that he or she thinks they should, but I am sure that the Coach is playing the players that will benifit the team the most in any particular game.

I know your post is in fun. But in all seriousness, his sub patterns are not eccentric. He has done it the same way, right or wrong for years. He is 18-2 this year and made the trip to Rupp last year. Agree or not, he is consistent and lately you cannot complain about the results. And I do agree about changing the hairsyle to be like yours.:thumb:

Oh, Mr. BogeyMan, I agree. I was simply stating that if he torched up that hairdo, maybe the fringe Elliott scoffers who continually whine about playing time would see that 18-2 is the real deal. Bottom line is this; if he has questionable sub patterns ( which I don't particularly think he does) and he is 2-18 then he's crazy. But same scenario when you're 18-2, you're eccentric. ....I'm particularly easy to spot, you did check out my avatar didn't you? If you are agreeing with me on the Elliott folks who are always backbiting because of sub patterns, well, bless your heart! I don't suppose that if they come home with the tallest trophy in March that anything will change that.
