February 1, 200818 yr The key difference between the two offenses is proven depth. I honestly don't know what UK has coming in so I'm not going to judge, but UofL has "best backup QB in the nation" with Cantwell, and several good (or potentially good) runningbacks and recievers (Powell, Brock "The Freakin Man" Bolen [don't know if that's his nickname among other people but it sure is for me... edited], Stripling, and Anderson at RB's, and Spillman, Beaumont, and Long at receivers, just to name a few). The big question mark for the offense for UofL is the line... I know we're losing some good big men in the trenches. What a joke.
February 2, 200818 yr Where does that statement come from? I quoted it to ensure the UK faithful that I wasn't trying to be as homeriffic as possible. ...except that I didn't doubt it then. I've heard it from numerous UofL fans out and about, when watching UofL games at parties or at the Pizza Box... almost anytime Hunter Cantwell is brought up that is the general sentiment.
February 2, 200818 yr Want to explain how UL played their best game of the year against UK?
February 3, 200818 yr Author How can anyone say that UK returns more on offense then last year? They lose their QB, starting RB, TE and 2 recievers. And I'm not sure what the status of linemen is. Actually I think UK fans would say Derrick Locke can fill the shoes of Little.
February 3, 200818 yr Man, I wish I could get an answer to my question... Because they came within a TD of the team that beat the eventual national champs!!!
February 4, 200818 yr Reason number 99 why UK is going to beat UL this year: it is the opening game against a team running a new spread offense with a big experienced offensive line, a running athletic QB, and a stable of quick backs with absolutly no game tape on them and trying to defend them with no experienced linbackers. Maybe TJ should move the game back a week or two.

Maybe TJ should move the game back a week or two. I am not sold on Pulley because the last "running, athletic" quarterback UK had was the stellar Shane Boyd. Forgive me if I am skeptical.
February 5, 200818 yr Author I think were all a little skeptical at this point in time and will be 'till the blue-white game.
