Congratulations to the Lady Raiders. They shot the ball very well tonight. #12 (Barnes?) hit some mid-range jumpers that came up big for Trimble County in the 3rd quarter. Exciting game to watch. Williamstown never gave up and made it interesting down the stretch. Hats off to the Lady Dmeons and their never say quit attitude.

The Lady Demons need to keep their heads up. They are young and the future looks bright.:thumb:

Trimble Co plays Paris (region 10 winner, I think) on Thursday January 31st at 9:30 pm.

You got your birthday wish.:ylsuper: Congrats on the All A win.:thumb:

Congratulations to the Lady Raiders. Also to the Lady Demons on a hard fought game. Looks like they did a great job keeping it close and keeping Miller at bay. I couldn't make it to the game, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the Demons played a packed in 2-3 zone to stop the inside play of Timble. Good luck down state Lady Raiders, represent the 8th well and make us all proud.

Major congrats to Coach Stewart and the Lady Raiders. We will be in Richmond to watch you play!!!!!

Was a great game to watch and was really anyones game until the end. Congrats to Lady Raiders, good luck in Richmond, do the 8th proud. Lady Demons you proved your t:thumb:ime has come.

The Lady Demons definitely showed that they are a contender. With so many talented youngsters, I definitely look for them to take a trip to Richmond in the coming years.

By the way, congratulations to Trimble for doing a great job in hosting the tournament.

That is 2 years in a row now that the home team has won the region Class A. Can Owen County make it 3 in a row next season?

You are correct...Wednesday instead of Thursday (my previous post on this was wrong)...it has been a long week!

Girls play all day on Wednesday while the boys play on Thursday in the first round of the Class A State at Richmond.

Congrats Lady Raiders. Good luck in Richmond!!!:ylsuper:

Second that! Great job lady Raiders! You did great and will do great down in Richmond.

Nope. They covered her well inside, so the Lady Raiders used the hot hand of Megan Stewart ( 4 3's tonight) and the inside game of forward Rachel Barnes. Miller still contributed with multiple rebounds.

Is Stewart related to Coach Stewart?

I believe it is her daughter.
