January 6, 200818 yr Author Got me on that one, but you know thats not been the case in other threads. Not all of the others but certainly a lot of them.
January 6, 200818 yr Nice effort for the same team of UM players that won only 9 games last year and weren't Big 10 competitive. They need to win a streak of Big 10 games to keep that mo going.
January 6, 200818 yr Where have the Ky. fans seen this before? Give a game effort against a better team, but more often than not fall a little short the Tubster hasn't lost his touch! That would be the same touch that made him the FIRST SEC COACH IN HISTORY to go undefeated in the season and tournament in a single season.

January 6, 200818 yr And then, if I'm not mistaken got pounded by a one man Marquette team. You must have a problem with the NBA too, as that same player has continued to do that in the NBA. And as much as Wade, wasn't it Deihner or something like that who knocked down several 3's. As well as don't forget that Bogans was playing on a badly injured ankle.

I think you need to check Miami's record. Yeah Wade scores his points and thats about it.
January 6, 200818 yr I think you need to check Miami's record. Yeah Wade scores his points and thats about it. Did you forget about Miami's NBA championship in which Wade was the key player?
January 6, 200818 yr No, I haven't forgot about that. And they have went down hill every year since. And as for why... Shaq getting older and not being the same player. So maybe someone else was the key player
January 6, 200818 yr No, I haven't forgot about that. And they have went down hill every year since. And as for why... Shaq getting older and not being the same player. So maybe someone else was the key player Let's see how many games did Wade miss last year because of injury? And they lost several players to free agency this past offseason. Some key role players. The same as Marquette had key role players. Noticed that you neglected to address that one of KY's two best players was playing on a badly sprained ankle. I guess Bogan's sprained ankle was Tubby's fault. If he had brought in a better trainer to lay hands on Bogan's ankle, he probably would have been playing at full health and UK won.
January 6, 200818 yr That would be the same touch that made him the FIRST SEC COACH IN HISTORY to go undefeated in the season and tournament in a single season. That's not true at ALL. He's the only coach to do it since the league reinstated the tournament for the 78-79 season. UK had previously ran the table during the regular season and the SEC tourney in: 32-33, 45-46, 46-47, 47-78, 48-49, and 51-52. Spunds like a good effort for the Gophers, let's see if they can continue through the Big 10 games or if a couple of losses takes their wind.
January 6, 200818 yr The thing I noticed most about this game is the score itself. The winner in the mid 60's is Tubbys style. He will do well in the big ten. He may not win many conference games this season but should be in alot of them at the end.
