You might want to look up Rick Pitino's record--he handled it just fine. He also let for the Pro equivalent of UK, the Boston Celtics whose fans can be just about as rough.

UK went from 78 to 96 without a NC. I don't remember anyone jumping off bridges during that era.

It's hard when you average 26 wins a year, win 5 SEC championships, a national championship, you go to the sweet 16 and elite 8 quite a few times, but the fans still want you out. It's hard for anyone to really handle that..

Those stats are getting OLD. How about letting Vandy win in Rupp for the first time ever, and then never beating them again? How about setting the school record losing streak to a conference opponent (Florida)? School record final four drought?
