Best Hitters In NKY

Featured Replies

I beg to differ.

Adams, Elliot, Nichols, Farris, Maile, Isler, Nutini, and many other players have very very strong arms in NKY and clearly showed it over the summer.

The Colonels lost to the Redskins last year 7-6 in the last inning and showed they could compete with them despite a young team. If you were to assemble all the players from each of the 3 three organizations, you are going to have a even better lineup and team than with just one.

That's the game that the old guy forgot to tell us that Midland used wood bats. LOL I ribbed him big time on that one.

Forgot to add Dylan Campbell....Football and Baseball...he may play both.

DD that is not the game that OG forgot to tell you they used wooden bats. That game was against the Midland Indians not the Redskins, Midlands best team. The Colonels beat the Indians, I was talking about the game against the Redskins.

And if you dont mind me asking DD, what D-1 schools were interested in Hump and Wags last year????

NONE, keep it real guys. Good players. And who cares, DI,DII,DIII if you've ever gone to a few games and watch NKU, TMC, X, UC not whole heck of alot of difference. A few more arms maybe???? X and UC won't even play NKU or TMC for that very reason!

Not sure about the kids comming up on the 08 Raiders, but last year, Wags, Hump and Murray had D1 interest.

As far as 2 sport players

Vince Murray for football and Baseball....not sure he will have time for basebal though.

Austin Seabald for baseball and soccer....he will play both I understand.

I am sure there are a few more, have to get out the yearbooks.

Ryle Raider Jocks Rock.

Murray was definitely a D1 football prospect, baseball not quite. As for Hump and Wags, their D1 interest had to be from mass mailing lists. Good players though. As for Campbell, I haven't seen enough consistency out of his baseball game, and football maybe because of speed. If I remember correctly though you spoke in present tense when you mentioned these D1 prospects. So, really your only one is Campbell if he pans out.:walk:

Glad you know what schools these kids were talking to.

I'am Garrett's dad and I know every letter and phone call and visit he made.

Mr. Humphrey kept me pretty well posted on who Brent was talking to and as far as Vince, Navy asked for baseball films as well.

Just keep telling yourself you know it all though, you'll feel better about yourself.

DD, i just want to know what schools were interested in these two players????

We might want to get back on topic before this thread is closed, but it may be already too late for that :sssh:
