8th Region All A Discussion

Featured Replies

The 1st round match up between Trimble and Walton should be pretty interesting after Trimble's win over Walton this week. At this point, i don't see either team beating Gallatin. I see Carroll coming out of the bottom bracket with Gallatin representing the 8th region at state.

At this point, I agree. I thought Walton would get by Trimble and give Gallatin a good game, but at this point I don't know. Walton can be a dangerous team if they are clicking, but the question is "will they click". They have a tough game tomorrow against SK, maybe they can get back on track.

Ditto.

WV would have given a good game, but since losing to Owen & Trimble, I believe Gallatin's got the 8th

WV will get back on track. Trust me. They will come out hot during the All A.

I hope you are right and so some people can get off Kyle Bennett's back.

If WV would play consistence I would be worried!

Absolutely. You won't find any talk about the Bearcat program in the paper at all. If it's not here or on my radio show (this year), you won't hear it at all. All of these kids deserve the publicity. Big or small school no matter.

Look at Dan Neeley from Owen County last year. One of the best players in the 8th region. Unless you are looking here, you wouldn't know anything about him last year. Now he's playing at Centre and getting minutes on the floor. Nothing in the paper about him at all.

I don't want to get on another newspaper rant here, but I'm just saying that all schools deserve to be talked about. Big or Small.

Not threadjacking here, but wanted to thank Buttels for update on Neeley. I wondered where he went to school. I knew that he would be a great asset at the next level.

No problem at all!!:thumb:

Agreed! WV plays at a high level, when they shot well, they are capable of playing with the best.

I agree they can play with the best at the all A level. I went to the Cov cath and Highlands game and the speed of that game and the level it was played at blew me away and I don't belive Walton could compete on that level night in and night out.
