January 1, 200818 yr P.A.T.S......PATS,PATS,PATS...............(well dont sound as good as Cats but you the point)
January 2, 200818 yr You must be easily entertained is all I can say. Don't know how old you are, but this is nothing near as exciting as it once was. Honestly, this may be the first time in my life that I don't even bother to watch the SB. You cited parity, HA! Parity is what we used to have when the playoffs were fun as was the whole season. This season stunk to high heaven. Well, yeah, I admit I am easily amused. I think you'll probably be watching SBXLII if you've watched SBs 35, 29, 27, 24, and 20 (just to name a few). And I agree with most of what Jim Schue said but I'll ask both of you this... How good was the NFL in any of those years? San Francisco ran through their 3 playoff games by a combined 126-26 one year. Everyone knew they would blow out the Broncos and the Chargers in those SBs. Was the league weak then when those teams dominated the playoffs and the SB was a blowout?

January 3, 200818 yr No, don't you remember the great games between them and the Cowboys those years? Not when SF won back-to-back years (88-89, 89-90). The years before and after, yes, I remember. So, if there are two great teams, then the league isn't weak? How about the Colts and Patriots this year (2 great teams, 2 great QBs, great regular season game)? I still don't see it with all of the great athletes and great QBs in the league right now why it's so bad.

In '90, it was a bit more evenly spread out, not particularly strong seasons, I grant you, but much stronger compared to this year.
