The biggest thing I noticed was the lack of class shown by the Brossart coaching staff in not shaking hands with Deming players and coaches after the game. Good win for Deming which moves to 7-3 and plays for third place tomorrow.

Another tough loss for Brossart and I will wait to hear from our resident Mustang as to the situation after the game.

Coach Code and the staff shook hands with the coaches from Deming, but the players were celebrating on the floor when the coaches walked through the line to the locker room. Not the case my friend, which I am done arguing after this post. I watched it with both eyes along with others who noticed the same thing. There was no celebration on the floor either. What is there to celebrate?....playing for third place? You are correct on one thing and that is that there were two questionable calls at the end of the game. Both were not fouls in my opinion.

I didn't see the Brossart HEAD coach shake hands with anyone after the game? I agree with Flip there was no celebration and why should there be? If Deming became more consistent they would be a pretty decent ball club. Congrats to the Devils and goodluck tomorrow!

Good win for Deming! I was very proud of how the guys rebounded from a poor effort last night.

 

I am by no means a Brossart fan. But, I have always respected their program and the class they show. I was dissapointed in the way Coach Code handled himself after the game. Coach you win with class and you lose with class. I thought your actions today were disrespectful. I guess Deming is beneath you and their not worthy of being congratulated on a tough win.

This behavior is a common scene witnessed many times, maybe it is not classless just a habit. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt. I am sure there are reasons why they run off the floor after a loss. I even witnessed the head coach running off into the locker room after the lose to Campbell Co and not even be there as his team picked up the second place trophy or while his brother's team picked up the winners trophy. I am sure that he must just need to wind down emotionally after a big loss. At least he knows his limitations and does what he needs to do in this situation.

Agree. This isn't the first time I've seen this from Coach Code, and it doesn't make it okay, alright, or excusable. I was at the Campbell/Brossart game.

I did not witness today's post game line-up, but DID witness the Campbell game; and you're flat wrong on that one ballerm!! Coach Code did "walk the line" after the loss and went towards the locker rooms, only to return for the trophy presentations, when it obviously occured to him the trophy presentations remained. I've seen you stir this one up before, but you're off base on the Campbell game. Wouldn't you be better off supporting your 6-1 team, that's in a tournament championship tonight, than worrying about what Brossart's coach does after a game??

Obviously you need to re read my post....I was just trying to find a possible justification for the actions. As far as the Camel game I can only tell you what I watched and that was him leaving the floor to the locker room before the presentations and obviously regrouping behind closed doors. If he returned I did not see it but am not saying you are incorrect. While I support Campbell Co athletics I want all Northern Ky teams to do well and demonstrate good sportsmanship from the coaching staff as well as the players.

Congrats to Deming on their win today!! Sounded like a good effort by both the Devils and Mustangs with the shot falling at the end for Deming. Good luck to them tomorrow!! Regarding what may or may not have happened at the end; after listening to the game; I can see why Coach Code didn't feel like hanging around for small talk afterwards, as it sounded like a tough beat.
