There is quite a bit of interest in the All A tournament, drop out and see a game sometime and see how the small schools get after one another just like the bigger schools tangle.:thumb:

Obviously not a Brossart or NKY fan are we HH?? Your comments are so historically inaccurate that they don't even warrant comment, but I felt compelled to speak when you call Coach Code "overrated"!! As a coach with a 75+% win ratio at an "A" school vs. a big-time schedule, a multiple "10th region coach of the year", twice finishing #1 in the final NKY rankings, winning an All "A" state championship (which does mean something to the 115-120 teams that participate), etc.--All in just 3 years as a head coach--How do you call him overrated unless Sports 3311 is right, and then let me know what you're drinking??

Weren't you the same guy slamming the Brossart internet radio announcers earlier this year?? Sounds like you've got an ax to grind, which is fine; but at least "grind" intelligently and accurately!!

Very good post Stickermann... I agree with you 100% as Coach Code does an excellent job with the Brossart program.

Class A will be somewhat a toss up for whose playing best that night. There will be some good games in this tournament. It would be something to see those freshmen from Deming win , Augesta has a shot ,but I'd say that St Pat may have a slight edge with with the experience of Chris Owens abd Anderson leading the pack. I'd like for one of those 3 teams to go. If one of the three are in it ,I'll go.:dancingpa

Isn't St. Pat a private school as well? Good thing grammer doesn't count for accuracy in a post as well.:D Once again thank you KERA......

Any private school with the ability to recruit should not be in the all "A", only the small public schools. A BB should dominate just as Lex. Cath did when they were small enough.:fire:

That was a low blow!! So you signed up just to write that? Plain and simple...Brossart does not recriut! The fact is they have a lot of strong feeder schools and most of the players from there want to play for them. They have more to offer then a great basketball program, but a great education as well. :sssh:

Why should a Brossart dominate any more than say a University Heights, Newport Central Catholic, St. Henry, St. Patrick's, Holy Cross (both), LCA, etc.?? Or maybe a small "city/independent" school who accepts tuition students like maybe Beechwood, Bardstown, etc.

FYI--I believe I read in an earlier thread that all 8 of BB's seniors from last years championship team grew up within a few miles of their school, and that several kids from their feeder schools started for other area programs last year??

Facts before allegations are always a wise course of action!!!!

Yeah I did write about Brossarts radio station, just because how there where caring on! I would also give my big toe for the all a state tourney, or even for the tenth region tourney. I'm not taking anything away from the other schools, but when a private school, has more talent then what you all act like, wins the whole thing, I’m sorry but I will not give them the props for beating teams they should beat. All im saying is that as good as Brossart has been, and yeah they have been good, they needed to hit with the big boys, and not hit with the little boys. Why does Brossart win the 10th region all a, all the time, ummm...they have players. Code is a good coach, he does not need me to say that, and nor does he care what I think, but he his given too much props for not full filling his job. Which apparently is to win on the small level. Im sorry if I mad anyone mad, will I guess im not, but I do not believe Brossart, being who they are should not be in the all a, and I cannot come up with a good reason. Only that a school that has talent, as they do, and there will be talent there in just about a year or to, when the young ones get there baring, should not be competing against Augusta, Bracken, St. Patrick, and Deming, where the all a is there only hope, where that is there state tourney!!!!

So you're saying no school with "talent" should be allowed to compete in the All "A"?? Should Elliott County or June Buchanan be banned this year due to excessive talent, because they have a special class or two come through a small school?? Perhaps you'd like the "A" state to just be decided between the four 10th region schools you've mentioned??

By the way is Code an "overrated coach", whose team won a "Meaningless Tournament" last year, and has "wasted their talent" and "not fulfilled his job" OR "a good coach who doesn't need me to tell him that" who won a state title "you'd give your big toe for"?? I'm getting a little confused, especially after having to translate your rants????

Straight up, this will be an interesting 10th All A in a while.

Saint Patrick is a private school, but the only school they get students from is maybe St. Augustine and St. Michaels. Unlike up in Northern Kentucky Bishop Brossart has a crap load of schools to get players from, just like Lex. Catholic. To me those two schools are in the same categories. Maybe June Buchanan, but I don’t know allot about those schools. I’m just saying what allot of people think. They may not be on here saying it, but allot of people think the same way as I do. You all can say what you will about me, but the fact remains, if you of allot of feeder schools in your area to recruit from then your no better than Lexington Catholic, and by which then you should go play with them and let the little people win or state tourney!!!

As posted above I would love to see a poll!!!!!!

The starting five of last year's state champs all went to the same grade school. Good try though HH... Try to get you're facts straight before you start making ignorant accusations. Also, a lot of the kids that go to St. Mary, Brossart's main feeder school, end up going to CCHS due to their success in football... Once again, good try, but you continue to be miserably wrong...

You know when CCHS and Brossart people are on the same side, it must be a clear cut issue...

That is if Augusta and Bracken don't get them first.

Brossart has six feeder parishes.
