Nice win tonight by Gallatin. I thought the officating was horrible for both teams. Maddox impressed me tonight. SK looked a little flat tonight. SK needs to get the ball to Maegley as much as possible. SK had too many turnovers tonight especially by the guards and missed around 13 free throws. Ouch!!

 

We could possibly see a rematch in the regional tourny.

I have to admit I thought this might be coming. Gallatin's pretty darn good again, and all of those on this board that predicted SK might be a better team this year than last, have some crow to eat.

I agree. I am not sure how anyone could think they are going to be better after losing these two great players, not only that, but they played the two key positions that you would hope to have to build the rest of your team around.

 

With that said SK is a good team and will be in the hunt for the regional championship. SK will continue to improve and comparisons to last year should be based at the end of the season. Gallatin County is a very good TEAM and Coach Jones always gets the most out of his players. They will also be in the hunt for the Regional Championship (I am not taking about Class A). It is going to be another exciting year in the eighth region.

I thought Maegley played well, but it looked to me that he needs to get in shape a little more. However, he is tough when he gets the ball on the low post. Big body, hard to get around to front him on the post. However, I thought Henson defended him very well and kept him from dominating the game.

If they got him the ball it was over no matter who was defending him.
