I have watched it over and over and I think its obvious that the Brooks girl was not innocent either like the Paris faithful would like folks to believe. Good job by both staffs on separating the tussle.

I never said she was innocent all I said was - did you see how she got to the floor and the punch to her face after she lost the ball on the rebound. It was hard for her to throw a punch when she actually had the rebound. But anyway we could go on forever with this. You have your tape and I have mine. I am done with this. Next game... please!

After watching the clip, they went to the floor because the girl from Harrison Co. threw Brooks to the ground. On the clip, she then hit Brooks while she was on the ground. Brooks got up and appeared to be heading down the court, and then she turned around and hit the girl from Harrison. It appeared as if she (Brooks) was going to run on down the floor and the girl from Harrison grabbed her arm, and that is when Brooks turned around and swung. No matter, the clip said both were ejected and have to sit out a game. There is no doubt in the the clip as to how they got to the ground and it wasn't by an elbow from Brooks.............

If a one game suspension is all these kids receive, then its a slap on the wrist in my opinion.

It looks to me as if Brooks elbows Dennie on the rebound and that is what starts the altercation. Dennie then pulls Brooks to the floor and pushes her as she gets up. Brooks may have actually been the one who took the first real swing. From talking with someone who listened to WCYN Radio on Saturday it sounds as if Paris has been implicated as playing dirty basketball for quite some time and the refs just don't control the game. No one on the Harrison County sideline condones the fighting that's for sure. Dennie is a scrapper and hopefully the refs will not become whistle happy on her and restrict her participation.

I agree, I watched the clip twice it looked the Harrison County player threw Brooks to the floor with a chicken wing wrestling manuver, tehn Brooks got up went after her, sad something like this happens in high school sports.
