Ashland 68 Ironton(OH) 65

Featured Replies

I don't have any details.

Good win for the Tomcats. My understanding is that Ironton is pretty good this year.

Anyon have details on the game?

Good win for the cats. Ironton was even better than I thought, but Matt Thomas was way better than anyone on the floor.

J.D. Adams had 17 points and Bonner had a double double. Chris Johnson had 9 in the forth quarter.

Biggs said Danny Coleman and Ryan Bonner were work horses tonight. Bonner had a double double and Coleman had 11 points and 7 rebounds

Good win for the Tomcats.

Ashland bench is putting up about 25 a game ,thats a great sign.;)

Was Matt Thomas injured in this game?? A broken finger maybe??

It as either broken or dislocated. I know that AShland was picked 2nd or 3rd in the region but this is the best "team" I have seen in a long time at Ashland. They appear not to care about individual stats and play hard nose defense.

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that for Matt. He's a great kid and classy competitor. :thumb:

Matt dislocated his left pinkie finger. Will probably miss at least a week, if no ligiament damage.

That might cramp his style at an afternoon tea party, but I doubt he'll let it hold him back on the court. :thumb:

I'd say you're right, Fastbreak.

Matt asked Doc if he could go back in but he said no you need to get xrayed so he left.
