Central 27 Belfry 17

The current is all that matters. After the banquets it will be on to next year.

Who the best? That is for the parents and former players to worry about. The only thing that matters is what is on the field today.

The past is very important as far as tradition goes, but tradition doesn't include crowning a best ever team.

I did not start the who's the best I merely stated that if a BEST team were to be named you'd have to say the 2 past STATE CHAMP TEAMS .I know very well that all that matters is bragging rights for the upcoming season from here on out but YOU have to admit that state championship titles speak for themselves.

On the first bold part, IMVHO too many parents of players on here and other boards saying we would win 40-12 or whatever......I honestly wish we could have shut down the boards......waaaaayyyyyy to cocky and I was wanting them to shutup....

On the second part - if some of you guys know me this might be a shock but that call along with the first pass play called showed me that Coach was flat out going to do whatever it took to win and I was loving the play calls. I heard people complaining and told a few of them to shut up, they whine and moan when he takes a knee and whine and moan when he goes for the kill.......he can't win for losing but he really doesn't care what anyone thinks....

Next year I honestly see Coach throwing 10 times a game.................

Congrats on a great season. Sorry you came up short. It is well known that you have a fine and outstanding program. I am glad to see the sentiment noted above.

Just for what it is worth -I know all of us are proud of our schools and programs. Sometime a fine line between "DIE-HARD FAN AND SUPPORTER"...and taking it too far. IMVHO prior to the game I thought some of your fans were way too "strong." God knows we over here never get this way (ha) -but "cocky and arrogant." Maybe in the future might want to keep that in mind. Especially against a really unknown opponent and the situation they come from. Just thought I would 'toss that in"

Congrats again and will look for you to be back nesxtg year.

I think the Belfry coaches warned the players that Central could be dangerous, but when young kids see 5 losses they see 5 losses. Probably hard to make them believe.

And, several of the BHS faithful, including me, saw the Johnson Central game and LC looked terrible.
