Darby Gallenstein had a great pass to Anderson under the basket also.

Nice win for St. Pat and Coach Hinsin Looks like he has the Boys from downtown maysville playing pretty good right now. If these two meet up again in the All A i look for even a better game. Congrats to the Saints.

Not if but when--They meet in the first round.

The score closer than I would of thought, but the game really was not that close. Saints had a, 6-12, point lead thru out the game. Not sure what was the biggest lead, just when I was listening at one point they were up by 12. Saints drove the lane with ease. That Deming d did not show up apparently, allowing 77 points, so much being better than St. Henry!!

Good win for the Saints. Tough loss for the Devils. Deming's D wasn't there tonight. But if they bring that same game Friday to Brooksville it will be a Deming win by 20 plus.

Listen to the game on the radio. Sounded like this game was intense. I wouldn't say that Deming's defense wasn't there because on some nights you will have a fast pace back and forth game where the score seems high.

Announcer said that Kyle King didn't score in the first half so someone must have scored in his place. Glad to hear Mitchell playing alot more, thought he should have been starting tonight but he played most of the night replacing Shalch. Heard White getting some more PT also heard him hit a coupel of 3's. Also another good night for Caleb Curtis I think he has stepped his game up and it's a joy to watch and hear him play. Not much on Garth Grause though not to be dogging Grause but I feel his play is starting to backtrack from last year.

As for St. Patrick, Coach Hinson really has his boys playing well and I can't wait until the Class A!!!!

I can say that Deming’s defense was not that good when they allowed 77 points!!!! You say it was bad in the first, in which the Devils allowed 21. How about they allowed 21 in the second, and 22 in the fourth!! That to me, to me, means that there defense did not show up, good thing they can score… and the game in Brooksville at the New Ice Palace, I see Deming winning that one with ease, Bracken plays hard just don’t have the players!!

It was a good game for the Devil tonight. They played very good St.Pat team. Coach Hinson had his boys ready for the Devils. Owens and Anderson played well as did the Mason kid. The Black Devils D needs to step in up. They gave up a lot of easy buckets tonight. But on the bright side they had a few kids step up and score tonight.

St. Patrick is indeed a quality Class "A" ballclub with a lot of weapons.

I thought that Deming really stepped it up a notch in the second half and made a game of it. Deming had two big chances to cut it to three mid-way through the second half following a missed free-throw, but Graus missed the stickback and another Devil missed the layup. St. Pat's answered with a three point goal to re-open the lead to 8.

It's hard to believe that the King twins are only freshmen - scary!

Very impressed with both teams tonight - they can really light it up.

Coach Hinson has to besomewhat worried about the closeness of this game at home. As he knows D is awfully good at home(Class A)

Coach Hinson is not worried about the closeness of this game, a win is a win whether its 1 point or more. Coach Hinson is preparing for his game on Thursday with Augusta, I would say his focus is on Thursday night, not last nights win.

I still would not say the defense did not show up. The defense was not as good this game as it was against Bourbon but some of it was there.

Couldn't make the game because of work, but I listened to it on the radio coming back home.

One thing I can say they really surpised me and I think alot of people, Kyle King was on the bench much of the first half(only playing 3:50), then cam back in the second half scoring 17pts. Good to here Nathan Mitchell Coming off the bench scoring 13pts as well as Jarrod White chipping 10pts.

A couple of more baskets made or freethrows and this game could've went the other way. Maybe differentgame the next time these 2 play.

Could it be that Deming’s defense showed up at Bourbon County is that Bourbon County is just not that good this year???

Talking about Defense, both teams allowed over 70 points. I think it was a great intense game with some very talented shooters on both teams. There is not doubt that Owens, Mason, and Anderson know how to get open and get to the basket. Give these kids credit. Deming has some nice offensive talent of their own. I thought it was a great early season game.

This was a very good game. The refs did call a lot of fouls, bot to be fair most of them were fouls. The Saints have 3 people that could average 20 ppg in Owens, Anderson, and Mason. Mason can also average 10+ rebounds for the Saints. Either Lee Gallenstein or Darby Gallenstein could go off for double digits any night also. The Saints had 18 assists last night also, and that is a great number (7 of those by Anderson). The King twins were held to 4 points COMBINED in the 1st half, they ended up with 17 each, but that shows that people can contain them. Everyone talks about how the Saints need to improve on the free throw line, but in the last minute, they made something like 7 of 8, the one missed was by Owens, probably their most reliable free throw shooter other than Clarke.

Great game, now the Saints have to repare for Agusta Thursday and Fleming County Friday.
