This was a very good game. The refs did call a lot of fouls, bot to be fair most of them were fouls. The Saints have 3 people that could average 20 ppg in Owens, Anderson, and Mason. Mason can also average 10+ rebounds for the Saints. Either Lee Gallenstein or Darby Gallenstein could go off for double digits any night also. The Saints had 18 assists last night also, and that is a great number (7 of those by Anderson). The King twins were held to 4 points COMBINED in the 1st half, they ended up with 17 each, but that shows that people can contain them. Everyone talks about how the Saints need to improve on the free throw line, but in the last minute, they made something like 7 of 8, the one missed was by Owens, probably their most reliable free throw shooter other than Clarke.

 

Great game, now the Saints have to repare for Agusta Thursday and Fleming County Friday.

 

This was a good game, but to say that St. Pat held the King twins to four first half points is somewhat of a stretch. The defense wasn't great on either side of the ball. Deming was non-existent in the paint on defense and St. Pat relied on grabbing jerseys as their method of "containing" Deming. Kyle King sat out most of the first half with three fouls, and believe me, they were "ticky-tack cracker jack" fouls. The refs called them this way for both squads. I thought this was the worst part of the game. There were touchy fouls called on both teams.

Are you serious? The only thing that contained them was one had 3 fouls and had to set out over 11:00 of the 1st half. They both ended up with 17 points each. That's not containing in my opinion. I guess you are saying the Deming bench is the best defender St. Pat had last night. Because that is the only thing that contained Kyle King the first half. If he plays his normal minutes in the 1st half he ends the game with 20+ points.

Very nice win for the Irish!!! lee Gallenstein playing hard and aggressive and gives great support to owens, anderson and mason.
