Pretty good observation of all the teams. I could see a few teams moving around a bit, but who couldnt. Everyone will have their own opinions..

Overall, great observations.:thumb:

Not being a smart aleck, that's just how it is as of December 3.

You say NBA type numbers for Elliott early in the season, but when you figure that Elliott is only playing eight minute quarters vs. 12 minute quarters in the NBA. Stretching Elliott's 117 ppg average from 32 minutes to 48 minutes would equal 175 ppg. I can't recall an NBA game that got anywhere close to 175 points.

I agree but any game against GC right now will skew the numbers.

I agree with that, but 132 points is a little more than skewing the numbers. That is astronomical in a high school game.

I would have loved to see Randy Ward's reaction to seeing/hearing this score.

I am wondering if the scoreboard went to 132 or if it started over and read 32 at the end.

I wasn't picking on your NBA comment Cubby, just saying 132 is equivalent to 198 in a 48 minute NBA game.

That's unreal.

I'm surprised they kept the roof on the gym... or didn't have to replace the net on the Elliott end at halftime.

What may seem more unreal than the 132 is if you look at the line score the fact they had 107 at the end of the 3rd quarter !

Looking forward to your continued updates throughout the season. Maybe someone with some time on their hands can do something similar here in the 10th...

Good rankings! Elliott's numbers will, of course, drop because most teams will not choose to attempt to run with them and the competition on the schedule will get better. That being said, those two games were quite impressive offensively and defensively. The execution and passing were excellent and defensive pressure led to a ton of fast break layups.
