6A is going to a Louisville team: St. X vs. Trinity

1A is going to Beechwood (NKY) or Lexington Christian (Lexington),

so that leaves 4 chances for a non-golden triangle team to win a title:

2A Ft. Campbell vs. NewCath (NKY)

3A Belfry vs. Central (Louisville)

4A Lone Oak vs. LexCath (Lexington)

5A Bowling Green vs. Highlands (NKY)

3A and 5A are your only shots IMO... Belfry will eb the favorite in 3A,in 5A I think Bowling Green has been the most underrated team in the state on the whole all year, rmemeber their only loss came early in the year to a HEALTHY St. X in a very close game.

Wrong year. This year they lost to Trinity 39-28.

Not being from Kentucky I really don't understand this obsession with the EKY, NKY, Louisville, Lexington and WKY division. No wonder no one in this state can get a long. All they seem to do is divide themselves from each other. It gets to the point on here that it is childish.

In Alabama where I am from your high school name is all that is needed to be known. Not what part of the state you are in.

Amen:thumb: I get a bit tickled with the canine-esque obsession with geography by some also.

Seriously though, this is driving home a point others have made about perhaps the major issue facing the KHSAA today...
