Belfry and bowling green

Not being from Kentucky I really don't understand this obsession with the EKY, NKY, Louisville, Lexington and WKY division. No wonder no one in this state can get a long. All they seem to do is divide themselves from each other. It gets to the point on here that it is childish.

 

In Alabama where I am from your high school name is all that is needed to be known. Not what part of the state you are in.

Seems the Louisville area and northern Kentucky area like to seperate themselves from the rest of the state. Maybe they should play their own championship games..........

I believe it is just the opposite...I believe that the non-"Golden Triangle" teams have a self imposed inferiority complex. We are not out to get you because of where you are from, we are out to get you because we are out to get everyone. Just like all programs everywhere, we like winning.

 

Do we root for other teams from our area when we get into the playoffs? Sure...but so do you. That's good thing.

Remember, Bowling Green has come up small with huge expectations the last two years. I can't see this one being any different. Highlands by 3 touchdowns.

Nothing against HHS, but I think this is BG's year. HHS has a great program and may very well win by 20. Just a hunch and no disrespect meant towards the Birds. :thumb:
