Curtis Pulley

Featured Replies

He has a pretty strong arm but has shown nothing to prove that he can throw it well.

He threw it well enough to beat Woodson out the spring before last! I was at that game and a few practices, believe me he has a great arm to go with the run. Curtis has been working with coach Sanders & Joker all fall getting ready for next year.Go to this years spring game and see for yourself. He will win the starting job with no sweat and he is going to be hard to deal with for SEC teams next year!

Winning the starting job at UK next year with what they currently have will be no big accomplishment. And I stand by what I said. Until Pulley shows me that he can make accurate throws I will not be excited. You keep hanging your hat on the fact he beat out Woodson last spring. Where was he when the season started.

I guess Curtis will have to go out and show you how wrong you are about him!

I will have to agree that Pulley will probably go out and win the QB job next year, but it is hard to get excited about someone that hasnt seen game action at QB in about 3 years. Let's hope going against the first team D has really helped him this year.

Fidler will never play at UK, Hartline definitely has the potential, but I hear Lentz is the one to really watch out for and he will probably give Curtis the most competition next year.

I really don't believe Fidler or Hartline will ever play or at least start at UK. I would look for Fidler to transfer after this season or quit altogether. I do think Pulley will be the starter next year but like I said that would not be hard to accomplish considering the talent pool at QB right now.

That's fine and I hope he does. But from what I have seen out of Curtis so far the plate of crow will have to wait.

Pulley would be a real nice target for Lentz to throw to.

I almost guarantee you that he is about the same QB as Pat White...

No......he may actually throw a little better, but White is absolutely amazing.....and lightning quick..Pulley is not that...

IMO Pulley's stock just went way down with the news that Coach Sanders will be leaving. Too many ? marks for me to buy in to Pulley...

Coach Sanders is leaving????? Is this official? Where is he going?

Pulley is what he is. He isn't a pocket type passer like Woodson but he is in the mold of Dixon+White. A guy with freakish speed that has to continue to work on his passing game. Dixon and White aren't the best passers in history but they have made a consistant effort at getting better at that part of their game. On a side note I watched White's brother play high school ball on T.V. this year.... he is a freak too!
