November 25, 200718 yr Now that UK's regular season is over, what do you think about it. They had some very big W's, but some very big L's as well. The good.. Beat LSU when they were ranked #1 in the country. Beat UofL when they were a top 10 team and Brohms last game against UK. Beat Arkansas on the road against Hesiman candidate D.M. Avg. over 400 total yards of offense a game. The bad.. Lost on the road to South Carolina 23-38. Lost to unranked Miss. State 14-31. Could have beaten UT today. Gave up over 375 yards a game of total offense. IMO, the 7 wins is good for UK and they will go back to a good bowl game. The thing that's really sad to me is the nice start that saw them go to 6-1 and in the top 10. They have lost 5 of their last 7 games. That's not to good. Woodson, Burton, Little, Tamme, Lyons, Woodyard all those guys had great years. Johnson really shocked a lot of people by being so clutch for the Cat's. Just sad to see them finish so slow like they did.
November 25, 200718 yr I give UK's year a C. Probably averages out about that way. Kind of like when I took calculus in college back in the day. First half of the semester was a solid A, when it was all advanced algebra review. When it got to real calculus, I was lost in high weeds, and averaged about a D during the second half. Overall - C+.
November 25, 200718 yr Author Just think if UK lost to LSU. The Cats would be sitting at 6-6. :scared: Honestly, I don't see how UK beat LSU with the way they have been playing lately. But I have said it all year that LSU is an above average team.

November 25, 200718 yr I think this is a much better team than last year. Last year they surprised people. This year those 7 wins came straight up against teams that were ready for them.
November 25, 200718 yr 6-1 and finished 7-5 is a disappointment, because of where they were after 7 games. But look at the season as a whole, and go back to what many predicted and forecasted against a tough schedule. Hopefully, they are building a program that will last... I give them B for the year.
