Louisville 104 Hartford 69

The Ville is going to be really tough this year. They can run with any team in the nation, and if you try and zone them, they have big men who are excellent passers and they will High-Low you to death. Looks like they have all the necessary components for a legit title run this year.

No offense UL fans but Hartford is real bad. I wouldn't get caught up in all the stats from this game. Now I do think UL Is very good and can have a great season. I'm just saying.

At least UL is beating, and bad, the bad teams they play....

They won more than 9 games last year... ;)

Harsh... but really, after this football season we're nicely pent up for some hardcore rivalry smack talk.:ylsuper:

If UL can shoot 45 or 50% from deep, they will be very dangerous...The post play will be there, IMO, and the good shooting will help wonders.

Yeah, they certainly would be, as would any team.

Transition defense looked very poor for the majority of the game, they often got lucky simply because of their athletic ability. Pitino really has to get that tightened up or UNC (assuming we play them) will tear us apart. Tomorrow should be a good chance for them to work on that but UNLV and BYU probably won't be cake walks so it's time to buckle down. This team has so much potential this season it's unreal.

I just got my tickets today for the UK vs UL game!!! I can't wait. GO CARDS!!!!!:dancingpa

Lucky dog!!!!!

Considering that Louisville shot "only" 35, it's just that much more impressive.

Wow that is impressive. I was at the hospital today with family and was watching the score on ESPN News. I wish more of their games were televised.

T-Will had a triple double, only the third in UL history.

I watched most of the first half today, and UL's color guy said TWill could put up multiple triple doubles this season, Now he said this way before he was close to his totals but could it happen?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he got one or two more this season. His 10 points are pretty much a guarantee, he has always been a very good rebounder and this season he has completely dedicated himself to being a great passer.

Not really...If you can't rebound (ex. UK) shooting that well won't do you much good, now will it?

Why would you need to rebound if you're shooting well???:jump:

Making 45% means you miss 55% of the time, thus creating many opportunities for rebounds.... :jump:

No kidding. That would probably make them one of the top shooting teams in NCAA history. Normally the leading teams of NCAA basketball are around 42% or 43%. That is normally weaker teams, naturally, as they are not going up against good defenses. If UL is around the 40%, that will be really good.
