Why was time put back on the clock after the time expired? I don't believe Greenup had any time outs left.

"The clock clearly ran out at the end of the game as well."

I hereby nominate this statement for inclusion in the Yogi Berra Hall of Fame. It also begs the question...when does the clock NOT run out at the end of the game ?

This was playoff football at its best tonight. Great game to watch. I told sevral it would come down to who had the ball last..................Congrats to Greenup.

I think some people owe Greenups coach an apology for all the trash they talked about him on here. He has really got them peaking at the right time. Congrats to Greenup for sticking together.

I agree GREAT WIN COACH SAMMONS, and GREAT WIN GREENUP

The measure of a good competitor or coach is someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to win. At the beginning of the season Greenup coaches thought Passing the ball 90% of the time was their best bet, But after 5 or 6 games thought they would try a more balanced offense. They didn't know if it would work or not but they knew they had to try something. For all you people thinking coach Sammons didn't want to win..... I have known him since grade school and whether it was on the baseball field, the basketball court, or the football field I have never questioned his desire to win... My hat is off to you COACH SAMMONS you took Greenup to a DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa

Woo! Hoo! Muskies! :dancingpa

Congrats GC,practice hard and stay sharp, the competition gets considerably harder from here.Represent the district well.

You mean a team was penalized 15 yards in a football game due to a FAN? Noramally, you are going to have the fan taken out of game area but penalize a team for it?

Congrats to GC on their win! Keep it going!

After the penalty was given, yards marked off,and the game was about to get going again the sheriff's dept. esscorted a fan out of the gate.Held the game up for about 10 mins.

The only thing the paper says that MAYBE he grabbed a player then the flag was thrown.

Also Coach Evans stated that he saw less than second when the Greenup QB spiked the ball to set up the winning TD.
