What criteria did you use for making the list? It seems there are some significant names left off.

 I'm confused as well.

MLB... Roberto Clemente, Johnny Bench, Cal Ripken Jr. Bowie Kuhn

NBA... MJ, Dr. J. & Red Aurabach

Pro Football... Gayle Sayers, George Halas, Vince Lombardi,

Steve PreFontaine...If im going by the poll.

I'd say in track and field there are bigger names.

Jesse Owens

Carl Lewis

Jim Ryan if you want to go long distance.

Bruce Jenner

and I think the list goes on.

I picked Mia just for the simple fact she looks better than the rest.:dancingpa

How in the world did Greg Maddux even make the list? He has been a great pitcher through out his career, but to mention him as making one of the biggest contributions in baseball is comical at best.

Hamm and Gretzky I can see. The others not.

Out of this strange list, my vote goes to Mia.

She turned America on (no pun intended) to women's soccer. The other sports with the exception of Pre, were all pretty well established.

Steve PreFontaine...If im going by the poll.

I don't know who he is, so I couldn't vote for him even if he did.

I'd have to say Gretzky or Hamm from the list you have.

Ali for boxing.

Bird and Magic for basketball.

John McEnroe for tennis.

Joe Namath for football.

Jesse Owens and Roger Bannister for track.

Lance Armstrong for biking.

Mark Spitz for swimming.

Nadia Comaneci for gymnastics.

Eric Heiden for speed skating.

Joe Dimaggio for baseball.
