Need an NFL team to cheer for...

Featured Replies

OK, call me buzz if you want but I'm wanting a team to cheer for in the NFL, I have zero allegance to any NFL team, for some reason it's never really been something I've gotten in to. I've always just been die hard baseball and college football, but I'm getting more into watching the NFL but theres an empty void because I don't have a team to support and say "that's my team" this thought occurred to me a few weeks ago. Here are some teams that I'm leaning towards....

1. Steelers, something about there blue collar playing style, I really like

2. Packers, got to love Favre

3. Raiders, a historic team

Am I stupid for trying to become a supporter at 26? Who should I cheer for guys?

The Steelers and Packers aren't bad choices, but you can do much better than the Raiders. Teams I would recommend staying away from are:

Dallas, Philly, Washington, Cincy, Baltimore, Tennessee, New England, New York Jets, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers,. Mainly because I just don't like those organizations. I do love the New York Giants. I love nothing more than sitting down at 1 PM and watching the big blue wrecking crew run out into Giants stadium !

I can't just pick a teem to cheer for, they have to grow on me. In your short list I'd go with the Steelers. As much as he wants to be Favre won't be around forever.

Knowing your history with women, and how you're used to having your heart broken, I think the Cleveland Browns are a perfect fit for you.

If you want a team to constantly armchair quarterback, question, and be within a few hours drive to watch, then share in that misery with other fans on a daily basis, I'd say the Bengals are your team.

My goodness.

Here, just close your eyes, spin in a circle and point at the screen...

Chargers, Packers, Steelers, Bears, Dolphins, Browns is about it I believe.

I would go with that. Plus the NFC North is always fun to watch.

I have really turned into a Packers and Lions fan myself.

The Giants have been around for over 80 years and they play in an open stadium! :D
