Final...

Another whack job in the first round.

Ouch....

What happened in this one? Why so many points?

One team was good with the ball while the other was not.(Just kidding)

I'd say that is what happens when a 0-10 team makes the playoffs.

Oh boy, can't wait to hear all the stories of running up the score on this one!

Water down the classes, let 90% of the teams make the playoffs, and beat downs like this will occur in the first round.

Its not like they were supposed to run up the score and they did not want to make it seem that way. Lex Cath did not even run that many plays tonight on offense. They scored on the first play of the game and on most drives usually on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd play they ran, except a couple. They scored points on every varsity offensive drive. Defense played a solid game tonight and I would bet that they probably kept them to under 60 yards of total offense. Good game overall. But it is playoffs and the varsity does need to keep insync for the week ahead, thats why so many points were scored tonight.

Its the playoffs, no time for holding back!! It means something now, so sorry bout your luck!!

Perfectly said.

I wonder if WJ enjoyed their playoff experience. Wasn't that that goal - get more teams the experience?

Hard to enjoy a 77-0 beatdown on a very cold evening.

Another great game! Thanks KHSAA for your wonderful playoff system. Now that you have made nearly every team in the State feel "included" and more people can "feel good" about the sport they play, you had better get to work figuring out how to mend the bruised psyche of the teams that get pounded like this. Hey, I know, lets just not keep score, declare every team a State Champion and walk home barefoot, singing give peace a chance.
