Looks like the Cats are going to need all the bodies they can get this year, but I can't see Harris contributing in any significant way. He's this year's version of Sheray (and even a little smaller). Coury can and will contribute more.

Do you really believe the stuff you type? If there would have been a thread last week on Razor Ramon you would have been the first one saying he was WAY over-rated and junk. However, now that he is hurt he has "size and length UK desperately needs..."? Please. Insignificant loss and will probably allow Joey C. and Jodie to occasionally slide over to the 3 and give Legion some extra early minutes which can only pay off down the line. Harris is a 9th or 10th man on this team, at best. You are hilarious.
November 6, 200718 yr Not a huge loss. I couldn't see him contributing as much as some let on... I have to disagree. I think he is a decent player and UK can ill-afford to lose anyone down low.

You want my opinion on why he was starting? To send a message to Joey C. Harris is fine, but his unfortunate injury won't make a hill of beans difference long-term in the results this team accumulates.

Forgive me for not thinking immediately that you're simply over-valuing Harris so as to make things seem far worse than they are. You've earned your reputation in terms of 18% announcements and the like over the last few years, unless you've changed your pattern / behavior over night than you can't complain when every post you make about UK is taken with a grain of salt.

The only negative I've had to say since Gillispie took over is they lack size, and it appears there will be little to no help on the way in 08. If everything I say is taken with a grain of salt, maybe it's time I move on...

He has always told me that Billy Clyde is going to take UK over the top, when he has enough big bodies... and with Harris and Jasper out that leaves only six guys taller than 6'5". Carter (with his own body issues.) Stevenson (you want beanpole jokes, HSSB?) Patterson (will they ever pass to him again? Could what he said have sounded worse?) Williams (lightyears away from contribution.) Stewart (also rough-hewn at this point, although I like him.) Coury (good effort guy.)
