Where you been 02Ram?

Losing Harris hurts depth...he has some size and this team is going to foul a lot.

With Harris and Jasper out...plus seems like Carter is going to play it game to game. If these injuries extend more than 3 or 4 games cats could be in trouble. If anything they get out of rhytm with their bench play.

Harris reminds me of Antwain Barbour. A player with a ton of potential who dominates in practice but can't do anything in a game. I think he is a waste. But he is tall and athletic.

Nice to see you've seen enough of him to make that call.

Didn't Villanova have a pretty good team a couple years ago with 4 players 6'5" or smaller on the floor 75% of the game?

Didn't Tennessee have a pretty good year last year with only 2 legit post players?

Those were four special guards in that offense.

And they all rebounded very well.

Villanova's guards had NBA level talent. UK's at the moment do not.

UK's most legit post player is a 6'9" swingman.

I do think this will be a decent team but nothing like the two you speak of.

People cite one example of a team who had a successful four guard offense and it becomes the rule rather than the exception. They may play 4 guards sometime this season, but Villanova was a special situation and I personally believe Nardi/Ray/Lowry/Foye were a little better than Bradley/Meeks/Legion/Crawford.

Patrick Patterson is NOT a swingman.

Maybe UK's guards can become special under Coach G. I think he can get the best out of them. It's not like they're not talented, I think the prior coaching staff held them back a little.

Patrick Patterson is NOT a swingman.

He's certainly not a true Center.

I think Bradley and Meeks could certainly fit in the 4 guard offense Nova used. I haven't seen enough on Legion to know yet. Crawford in no way fits the mold of any of those four guards...

Villanova didn't have any guards out of shape, lazy, and possessing a world-class bad attitude? That's a shame. :D

Joe Crawford has about 5 months to fix 3 years of disappointment; fits of inconsistency mixed in with bouts of under-achievement.

Nice to see you've seen enough of him to make that call.

You'll see. :thumb:
