It's really hard to say what would have happened, because the flow of the game would have been drastically different. And yes, the same can be said about the Colts minus Harrison, but he isn't what he used to be IMO.

Moss sure didn't look like that in Oakland....The guy throwing the ball is who made the biggest difference. Look Manning is a great QB, probably go down as one of the very best, but Brady is just plain better right now.

November 5, 200718 yr No WR can be clutch all on his own, but if you think Moss is just benefitting from having Brady the Almighty tossing it around at will, I don't see how we watched the same game. Moss was THE difference yesterday.

That's fine, and the team I am sure likely has, that's why I feel that they are more confident NOW, then even before the loss....the Colts outplatyed the Pats for 90% of that game, they left some points on the field, and they were supremely short handed....I think they come out of that feeling OK.
November 5, 200718 yr I seem to recall Stallworth and Welker making huge plays as well. The Colts did a poor job backing up their 1 and 2 WRs and it cost them in this game. Maybe you can place some blame on Wayne dropping two or three easy big gainers... Welker and Stallworth combined for 70 yards...hardly anything...Moorehead dropped two very important balls, but as the #4 WR that happens...oh blah dee...like I said, I am quite sure that the Colts have a lot of confidence, and know that when they are 100% they are better than everyone left on their schedule, and likely those in the playoffs as well.

November 5, 200718 yr He was quite the force without Pep in Minnesota and also in his stint in Oakland. With the best QB in the game throwing him the ball, he is unstoppable. Ask the teams that signed former "standout" Pats WRs how good they were when they got to town. That points everything back to one guy... This is a weak argument against your "college buddy" . . .1 - the best QB in the game is still Peyton...Brady is more clutch....but Peyton has proven year after year he is the best (simply IMO)....we all know that Moss is a complete basket case, but also may be the smartest receiver to ever play the game...he knows how to "feel" a game out, and has more skills than anyone I have ever seen play his position....he simply quit in Minnesota and really folded it in, in Oakland. He, like everyone else that goes to the Pats, bought in, knowing he had the QB he wanted, the leadership he needs, and knew that it was his last chance at something special...
