November 5, 200718 yr IF Wayne would have caught those and IF Manning could have held on to the ball: Colts win:D :ylsuper::jump:
November 5, 200718 yr Gonzalez did play ... The 1st quarter... Rest of the game Morehead was the second WR
November 5, 200718 yr I seem to recall Stallworth and Welker making huge plays as well. The Colts did a poor job backing up their 1 and 2 WRs and it cost them in this game. Maybe you can place some blame on Wayne dropping two or three easy big gainers...Take Moss out, Stallworth and Welker get covered better. Who in the NFL is the threat Moss is? C'mon GT, Pats barely won with Moss in the game and he was HUGE for them.
November 5, 200718 yr IF Wayne would have caught those and IF Manning could have held on to the ball: Colts win:D Who invited you in this argument. :irked: I suppose you're going to tell me you've NEVER said IF about a football game.
November 5, 200718 yr Who invited you in this argument. :irked: I suppose you're going to tell me you've NEVER said IF about a football game. Just friendly banter. I just couldn't let all the "if" bombs continue without some sort of retort. I will now bow out graciously, since I seem to be crashing the party:dancingpa

November 5, 200718 yr Take Moss out, Stallworth and Welker get covered better. Who in the NFL is the threat Moss is? C'mon GT, Pats barely won with Moss in the game and he was HUGE for them. He was quite the force without Pep in Minnesota and also in his stint in Oakland. With the best QB in the game throwing him the ball, he is unstoppable. Ask the teams that signed former "standout" Pats WRs how good they were when they got to town. That points everything back to one guy...
November 5, 200718 yr I was kidding about who invited you. I know. I'm just having some fun. :thumb:
November 5, 200718 yr IF Carson Palmer wouldn't have gotten hurt in 05, the Bengals would have a Super Bowl ring right now....See we could play the "IF" game all day long, and as GT said, nothing would be proven. Bottomline, the Pats won, because they came up clutch when it mattered, and that other guy didn't....

November 5, 200718 yr They would not have won if he got put out, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. That's your opinion, and I've already covered what opinions are like... :bunny:
November 5, 200718 yr They would not have won if he got put out, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Who, Brady? If so, I completely agree. Moss, maybe so, but I'd say Pats would still win.

Good Lord, why was it a team win with the Pats and a Manning loss?
