November 5, 200718 yr Youngstown State, Akron, Washington, and Kent State. That's another reason why OSU doesn't get a lot of respect. A cupcake OOC schedule couple by a conference that doesn't have a championship game. The schedule was set up years ago when Washington was in the middle of a good run. Outside of U of L ( which is UK's rivalry game ) who did they play?? EKU? FAU? Kent State?? What do you expect for a team to do? schedule the top 3 teams in the country right in a row?

November 7, 200718 yr Bob Davie was on ESPN Radio yesterday and said that for whatever reason, the SEC and now the PAC 10 are getting the best athletes especially on defense and the combo of pure speed and athletic ability is what sets these two conferences apart. He said that when you watch the Big 10 and Big East and then switch on a SEC or PAC-10 game, its like the entire game sped up dramatically. He also commented on the intensity of the SEC. His words were that "every play is a fist fight " from the time the ball is snapped until the play is over and that's what is different about the SEC.

This year's OSU team can't beat this year's Florida team, either. The Buckeyes are no better than mid-pack in the SEC.

November 8, 200718 yr I just wish the SEC would play football and stop talking. Everyone knows there a strong conference but they have to hear it to feel good about themselves it seems. When the truth is there just bitter cause of conference is too good for itself and its hurting most of the teams in it. There way of asking the BCS computers for mercy.
