Just 4 Fun, Also remember Caldwell Co hammered Trigg Co 41-14 a couple of weeks ago, so you may want to consider eliminating them off the list. Paducah Tilghman program is considerably down & they would struggle against Caldwell, Hopkins & Calloway most definetly. On your list, Bowling Green is the ONLY team that Lone Oak couldn't beat but I think Lone Oak could score agains them. Marshall County would probably run the table with that schedule but remember they are 6A.

 

In case you haven't been watching this year, there is more parody than ever in WKY high school football.......has Trigg played LO this year???....i didn't think so. Lets not assume, you know what that does. The FUNNIEST part about all of this is.....how many teams on that list has LO played??? Im guessing none.....so how do you know you could beat them?? And to be honest with you, a lot of those teams on that list are twice as physical as any team LO has played this year.......and to mention BG and LO in the same sentence is absurd......GPF, your squad hasn't seen a great team yet......slow your roll, and maybe be objective instead of playing homer on every post......

Yes....i read the print correctly.....but I have a hard time believing you think LO can beat any team in WKY but BG.....that is ridiculous. I think they would have a hard time winning against any of those teams listed in the post by Just 4 Fun......don't you???

How would you know there aren't any great teams?? LO hasn't played Marshall, Graves, Ft. Campbell, Christian Co., Hopkinsville, etc....Im sorry but any of these teams could beat LO.......pal.

We scrimmaged Hopkinsville twice in preseason & beat them both times handily. These teams along with Lone Oak would be considered good but certainly not great.

There is no questioning gopurpleflash's loyalty and zealousness, but he was hardly mentioning Lone Oak and Bowling Green in the same breath.

 

Commenting that he thinks Lone Oak could score on them is a pretty good indication that he doesn't think they're on BG's level.

I think Marshall and Graves would hand it to Lone Oak, we'll see how Calloway does against Graves this Friday night.

I agree that this postseason will be a huge indicator of where LO really is, but in my right mind I just haven't been able to group LO with some of the areas traditionally strong teams....based on their programs history and this seasons schedule.....they may very well prove me wrong....right now I just don't see them winning a sub-state playoff match. We will know in a little over a month!!

Now that’s brutal, yet understandable. There is no doubt that Lone Oak is having a great year and that they have one of, if not the best QB in the state, but I think comments like “Fulton City learned last week if you play with fire you get burned” are a bit too cocky for a team thats schedule is considered weak by most and that normally doesn't compete deep in the playoffs.
